Living River Foundation is a small charity supported by volunteers, if you have the skills to support the charity’s work or would like to be trained so that you can get involved please see the various roles below. Applications can be made directly by filling in the Volunteering form or via Do-it.org
Volunteer teeshirts are available here
Sampler – training provided
We are currently sampling the Thames and Medway Estuaries for microplastics from a small workboat. Being part of a small onboard team you will be expected to help lift the nets, sort samples and record the data with full training provided. Good sea legs and stamina for long days is a must though.
Dates for Surveys and Training are on the calendar, click on the Events tab on the bar above.
Regular clean ups are planned up and down the Medway, come and join in or gain training to lead the events.
Guest Speaker/Wildlife Guide
If you have an interest in the estuaries for example the wildlife, history or sights please get in touch. Expenses will be covered with a small renumeration.
Admin and funding support
Any administration skills that you can provide for supporting the charities work would be most appreciated.
